Rick eyed the android up and down confusedly- how did he…? Oh, who cared, a lot of people seemed to manage to be able to sneak into here as of late (he couldn’t imagine what was up with GLaDOS with letting people pass through).
“Err… sorry, what?” Rick wasn’t sure what this android was talking about since his vocabulary wasn’t exactly the most…extensive. “Come again, buddy?”
The floating android—the Lor Starcutter, as it were—opened his mouth to respond before promptly closing it again with a frown. This other machine must not have had very good audial sensors, he decided.
>I AM ASKING WHERE YOU FOUND ALL THE MACHINES. I HAVE HEARD YOUR CHATTER OVER MY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS FOR SOME TIME.
He had been hearing them, too. He’d had nothing better to do with himself lately than to scan the surface of this planet Earth for other mechanical life. Since then he had been listening to their transmissions, but had finally cracked under the desire to communicate back with them. To transmit a distant signal to them would be rude, though, he decided, so he had sliced open a personal sized warp gate and floated right in on the location of one he had paid particular attention to.
However, he had not prepared himself for the cacophony of signals in this underground facility and now seemed irritated by all of it. He winced slightly down at the small, green core.
>PLEASE TELL ME WHERE WE ARE LOCATED, AS WELL. I KNOW THE SPACIAL COORDINATES, BUT THIS… LANDSCAPE WAS UNEXPECTED.
